Seminar: Activism, Engagement & Integrity
Dear all,
We are pleased to invite you to a BCCR seminar on activism and the role of researchers, next Thursday at 13:00.
The seminar will begin with the film Sivil ulydighet (Civil Disobedience), which runs for 40 minutes. This will be followed by a discussion featuring three Bjerknesians who are actively engaged in climate issues in various ways.
You can find a teaser for the film here
Our discussion will explore the boundaries between activism and engagement, the role of researchers, trust, and scientific integrity. We are not seeking definitive answers but hope to spark an interesting conversation. Audience questions are welcome.
The panel:
- Ina Nagler, PhD student at Geo and member of Scientist Rebellion
- Mari Myksvoll, researcher at IMR and member of the political party Sentrum
