Polar gathering
Hello Polar Bergeners.
After a very long time of home offices and no possibilities for physical gatherings we are back:
Egget – Studentsenteret – Thursday March 31. 14:15 – 16:00.
Hold the date & time.
We have invited the famous Polar Explorer Børge Ousland to come and tell us about his personal
experience with the Arctic winter, and we will get a cultural and esthetical view of Arctic Masculinity
from our own Professor Sigrid Lien. We will serve coffee and buns in the break, and run a “sign-up”
list in the week before to get a correct order.
We decided to run the talks in English this time, and hope that many of the permanent employees of the
network will forward this invitation to Post Docs, PhD’s and Master students. The gathering is open to all,
and “Egget” can fit 270 people. Everybody is welcome.
