Understanding climate
for the benefit of society

Anna-Marie Strehl

I am a postdoc in physical oceanography working with water-mass transformation at high latitudes.

My particular research interest is on the future of overturning in the Nordic Seas and its impact on the global overturning circulation.

I am working both with observations and regional modelling to investigate the impact of global warming on the future of the thermohaline circulation, and I am always interested in testing out new methods to assess the state of the ocean.
